2018 New Year

Happy New Year!!! This year has been awesome! This was a positive year this year. I’ve been partying A LOT. In this blog you will read about some of the cool things I did (some of them not so cool.)

In January, I got the flu which was horrible. I had it for a long time and couldn’t get out of bed for a couple weeks. After I recovered, I went to Lake Tahoe and got really good at snowboarding.

In February, I went to a sleep-away field trip to Pigeon Point, CA. That was really fun. There was a lot of wildlife, for example, dolphins, a rabbit, octopus, and elephant seals.

In March, I went on a sleep-away camp with Trackers apprenticeship (which I went to 4 times this year.) That was a really fun trip. We made a raft one time out of wood and it held 8 people. We went out on a lake that was a small town that got flooded on purpose.

In April, I went to Santa Cruz to see my friends. It was awesome!!! We played at the beach a lot.

In May, it was my birthday. My friends and I had a sleepover party and a murder mystery. We played a lot of video games.

In June, it was the last day of school in 5th grade, but, I wasn’t there because I was sick. At least I got to visit my school in the morning before the graduation speeches to say goodbye.

In July, I went to a survival camp called 4eee we went on a 3 day survival trek with no food or sleeping bags or tents. Only blankets and a small bag of flour and another small bag of trail mix.

In August, I went to Nature Camp which I wrote about in my other article. We played a lot and went in the pool and natural water slide.

In September, I didn’t do anything…. Which was boring.

In October, my friends and I worked and made a really good haunted house. It was actually pretty scary. It had mirrors with blood written on it. My friend hid under a dark cloak and everyone thought he was a dummy and he jump-scared people.

In November, I saw Estas Tonné play his guitar. He’s my dad’s friend. Also my family friends came over to my house for thanksgiving. We went to Alcatraz Island and had nachos that tasted like crap.

In December, I had a school violin concert which was okay. Then I had a jazz band concert (I play flute), Finally I had a my violin concert for my teacher. I’ve never had 3 concerts in my whole life in one week.

Finally, on the last day of the year I wrote this sitting at a nice table in VA.
