Nature Camp

When someone tells you about some camp you don’t know called Nature Camp, you probably think that it would be about nature, how to live in nature and learn some skills to make teepees and stuff. Well, it's nothing like that. You learn all about the world, space, everything you want to learn. You get to choose! Well, it turns out that now nature camp is my favorite camp. In this blog, you will hear about natural water slides, the Canteen to get snacks, and the pool.

You probably have gone to a normal water slide before. There dark really long, cold, well this is that times ten. You can clog up the slide and make it go EXTRA fast. It’s about 5 feet deep at the bottom, the slide is about 14 feet long, and it curves. This slide is natural and made out of rocks. The water comes from a creek called big mary creek. This waterfall/slide thing is called table rock.

The Canteen is a place to get snacks (junk food.) After dinner and after rest time we are allowed to go. It’s a really fun thing to do. We have to save our money for the Canteen while we play for the other 2 weeks. The Canteen sells, Snickers, M&M’s, Gatorade, stickers, Airheads, Sour Patch Kids, ice cream bars with M&M’s in it, and t-shirts. It’s crowded all the time because everyone wants to eat junk food.

The pool is one of the really fun parts at nature camp. If someone asked me what nature camp is like, I’d probably talk about the pool for one of the first things I’d say. One thing about the pool is at the last night we all get candles and float them in the pool. There is a small basketball hoop next to the pool that's a really fun thing to play with when you have a ball. It was the first place I went to at nature camp on the first day.
