Sringeri

Sringeri is in India. Right now, I am in Hariharipura which is in the state of Karnataka. Sringiri is also in Karnataka. We went there for a day trip to see a temple there.

First to get ready, we had to get a sun hat for our eyes. Then we called a taxi driver to bring us there. The road to Sringiri curved a lot. I saw a ton of construction on the roads. The last time I went on that road, my mom threw up because we were on a bus at night. There were so many people on the bus, so we couldn’t see in front of the bus so she threw up.

When we got there, we saw a humongous tower. The tower had paintings all over it. We went in an arch that was under the really tall tower and the arch looked so modern.

We went out of the arch just in time for some elephants to come out. I was surprised that the elephants didn’t get burned by the ground on their feet because mine was. The people told us to walk barefoot in the hot sun on hot stones.

We had to pay the elephants 10 rupees to have them bless you. You literally give the Elephants the money and they hand it to there keeper and they put there snout on your head to bless you.

After that, we went to these gigantic fish they were about 17 inches. We had some graham crackers for the fish and the fish loved it. There was the biggest fish and it just was so mellow he let the smaller fish have the graham crackers.
